Anonymous Poll on political ideology

RE: Anonymous Poll on political ideology
What are your political views handmaid?
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Communist idea is stateless in the sense of pursuing an end object of there being one single world state that is theoretically not a mere aggrandizement of a preciously existing state, not stateless in the sense of anarchy.

In my humble opinion it seems to me that to some extent, whatever government a group of people are under, everyone is to some extent relying on the good intentions of powerful people.

Whether those people are the government in a completely communist government controlled society, or if it's rich well armed people in a free market society with anarchy.

Talking about those two extreme sides, I've noticed a similarity between the two in that they both seem to claim that the true form of their government has never been tried and tested and if we could get to the point of trying the true form of government, that would be for the best.

Communists will say that communism is only truly in place when the government isn't corrupt and resources are pooled properly by the government.

Free market anarchists will say there's never been a country without a government that had a good form of capitalism in place with non aggression principles.

This seems like an excuse to me really.  Similar to how religions claim if only everyone would believe as they do everything would be great.  I think a part of how good a system works is how corruptible is it and will people follow the rules and what will happen if they decide not to.
Otherwise I could just start a Bill and Ted form of government, when it goes wrong I'll just claim it's because not everyone was being excellent to one another.

Whichever of the two systems that's in power, how "good" the system works might depend on things like the morality of the people in control, how were they raised? Are they psychopaths? Criminals? How good is the technology and resources under their control?

If there's an island with low technology, poor resources, criminal psychopaths for leaders, it won't matter if those leaders call themselves the government or free market entrepreneurs.

Isn't communism state-less? Which means by definition a communist 'goverment' can't exist? I dunno much about it personally.

I may have used the wrong term then, I was looking at that graph on the previous page and looking at one extreme which is "Private property is abolished, government controls everything" And the other " People aren't controlled by any government, no regulation."

Communism might have been a bad word choice.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

That's communist.

It makes me sad when people use political terms without having the basic understanding of them one gets from looking them up in a dictionary.

To often the word communist is thrown around without people understanding that communism is not monolith . Some schools are more authoritarian while others are more anarchist .

The grouping of political philosophies known as Anarchist are far removed from marxism, mainly because they don't believe the nationalist state is the right means to achieve the socialist ideal, whereas marxism does.

Libertarian Marxism IS a thing,

Frankly it's a thing in the same way as racist non-discrimination, i.e. it is not.

Marx ripped off NT.

Ananias and Sapphira died trying to impede God's communist ideal. Fucking (Plymouth) Pilgrims didn't pray hard enough to make it work either, and their fail gave it a bad name.

Odds are VERY STRONG you fit one of those. I think most people are centrist  (moderate, as the poll puts it)  I'm Social Democracy

This was very handy, thank you. I had no idea what option best described me until I saw the graphic you posted. Like you, I figure Social Democracy best describes me, but I think I'm likely existing in a cloud around 11, 12, and 17.

What would be really awesome is if someone could do an empathy overlay with this. In other words, are sociopathic tendencies connected with political leanings in a statistically significant way? How does it connect to the spectrums presented on each axis?
