There's nowhere to leave -from-, Nick. I don't run a church - there is no church. Most atheists don't even agree with me on the subject of god, or in the particulars of a specific god proposition, in the first place, lol.
Most of these folks, for example, are agnostic atheists who believe that there was some historical personage upon which the jesus legend was built - just as one example. I'm not an agnostic atheist, and I don't think that there was ever such a person.
Do you see how there is no "we" here, no monolithic block or group or place to leave?

Oh cmon, your other half and I were making progress...sure, there are moments of regression, but that's to be expected. I think he can get passed them.
We've already learned that he didn't mean -exactly- what he said..and that things weren't actually that way...that this is just a way for him to express frustration at some other, lesser sleight to make a point... and he's already learned that I'm no high priest of atheism excoriating those who leave the fold for leaving the fold...what with there being no fold to leave.

Moving forward.....now that we have two issues of contention down, should we address another? Golden opportunity, here, Nick. You have a hardcore gnostic atheist interacting with you...you could figure out if I really think the way you imagine that I do..even whether or not I think the way you imagine I do, about you. In short, you could gauge the truth of your suspicions regarding others as they apply to your religious views.
You're not going to get that opportunity in church, now are you, lol?

I never said you said that, I was asking your opinion. And what is the green emoji even doing? I absolutely hate arguing with MOST atheists, because MOST of the time, their arguments go nowhere, and they pretend to disprove me. Do you think I spend all my time talking to only religious people? Yet another stock provocation. I doubt that you know many atheists. If you did, you wouldn't have such strange ideas about atheists.
That said, I think we've found another grievance. You feel as if atheists "pretend to disprove you". What do they "pretend to disprove you" -about- ?

Nick, would you like to debate someone about something? The conversation with Khemikal stops when you stop it. You're kind of proving his point by continuing on, and knowing him I suspect that was his aim all along.
Stop replying here and lay out your case. But remember, you're on the internet. You're going to get 25 inane responses and 1 or 2 good, thoughtful ones per point you make. This is true whether you're on a Christian site, Facebook, Twitter, or here. Respond to the thoughtful ones and people will stop trying to score easy shots.
