One of my hobbies is creating microcosms (little ecosystems in a jar basically). A few years ago all the plants in what I foolishly hoped would be a functioning ocean ecosystem died, but when I analyzed the water with a microscope I found this protozoa and took a picture of it:
It's not the coolest micro-organism in the world but I grew it myself so it was pretty exciting to find. ![]() The next picture isn't mine, but one of the coolest things I've ever seen is magnified pollen: No wonder this stuff causes allergies!
Here's a shot of a Lithium atom I took just now on my Samsung phone.
Gotta love the zoom on these buggers! ![]()
No God, No fear.

![]() ![]() PS, I had it set on time lapse! I should've increased the shutter speed, damn!
No God, No fear.

I like how you managed to catch the electrons existing tangibly in a definite location! It's lucky you added the watermarks, or else other people might steal your photo. ![]()
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
Short answer: pretty damned cool.

That is pretty freaking awesome. Love it.
I've been watching some pretty cool videos about ants. Yes, I'm a dork like that. But look at this shit! By pourine cement or metal down the ant holes people can then dig them up! Here's the biguest in the world made so far I believe. ![]() Ooh yeah water at macro level is pretty awesome looking on bugs. Especially dragonflies!!! Lol. That is indeed a pretty cool protozoa you made there!
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong. ![]() |
