At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
Guys. Isn't God phobia so prolific that people don't even see it as a phobia!
An irrational fear of what a bogey man will do to you if you don't tow the party line?

Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
Shots in the arm. Had so many hospital visits and procedures as an infant-to-child that I have a learned response/association that's pure terror.

I grew up dirt poor. If we ever managed to make it to the doctor, it was because we were so sick that it was life-threatening. As a result, when I go to see the doctor, even when I'm not sick, I have "white-coat hypertension". The nurses have to take me to a room and wait for me to calm down, then take my blood pressure. If I take it at home, it's always OK, but when I go to the doctor, I expect the worst, and my blood pressure shows it.

Is there such as thing as universal phobias?
Like when you get an unexpected phone call from the Tax Department who would like to discuss some things in detail? Yes sir, no problem. Anytime which suits! *gulp*! Beads of sweat forming on forehead. Starts walking around the house randomly. Brain has turned to a pile of mush ... WTF do I do now!

I have a phobia of monkeys, especially the Rhesus Macaque.
I've had plenty of run-ins with these vicious, thieving, fucking little arseholes. I think it's the unpredictability factor. I may scream if you put me in a room with one, but I will still fight it to the death if I have to. Tip - Never travel in their environment without a slingshot. Just like a gun, never pull it out unless you're prepared to use it. They will know. I'm getting goosebumps just writing this. 
BTW, no phobia about a sexual experience assumed to be unpleasant but instead turns out to be 'fun' ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
I've been wracking my brain for any more phobias I may have, but I'm afraid there's only the one.
