On the list: comic book based movies. Yes special effects have made it possible to amplify what is in comic books. But why do it? Do I actually want to view all fifty shades of Walter Mitty available to me now?
Just saw Wonder Woman because we couldn't find anything more promising to see yesterday and we very much wanted to be in an air-conditioned theater during the heat of the day. Nice to see a strong female roll model but don't go trying this at home girls unless of course you're some god's spawn. (The kind of god who puts some of the omni-goodies into your nature and doesn't hog it all to himself. Looking at you biblical Jehovah god.)

I'm just not in the least bit interested. All the hype doesn't exactly help, either. Even if I was tempted, it puts me off that it's almost compulsory. The same goes for Harry Potter.

Wife read the first book or two and found it tedious to keep track of all the characters. We watched Season 1 and 2 when they came out. Season 1 was brilliant, season 2 became so unfocused, convoluted and bogged down in tedious plot development, and we kind of lost interest. That was back in 20xx when we still watched things at all.
