Paranormal TV Shows Are Bollucks

I mean, really, who's a more authoritative source regarding the paranormal than a couple of plumbers and their friends who just happen to have a production crew with them, who created a show for ratings and ad revenue?

Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

OP: Yes, of course.
This goes back to the capitalistic system which gives us incentive to build great things but also provides an arena for frauds to market their wares to idiots. I feel your pain. I loathe the terms on both sides of the equation - the frauds and the idiots. I think we need the system though because we haven't yet come up with anything better. We just need to accept the side-effects of the system and deal with them. It's like a blood-pressure medication which kills sexual desire or is hard on the liver. We need to work with it because we need it. It's frustrating. It would be nice to just stamp out the frauds like ants raiding a picnic but it isn't that simple. Frauds are a part of our existence. We just have to shut-up and deal with the fuckers as efficiently as possible.
