Enlightened rants...
RE: Enlightened rants...
Well for starters, Bani-Israel had similarly those who possess the authority from them, mainly, Messengers but mixed their course and authority with following leaders not appointed by God. A great portion of Quran is devoted to how the false authority of religious clergy was mixed with that of divine authority of leaders appointed by God, mainly the Messengers.

And it because they broke the covenant with respect to their Messengers who after Moses, were Twelve Navigating Captains, they twisted God's words and their hearts became hard while doing so.

So they were cursed as a result because they didn't take the covenant seriously, but they were meant to hold on to no less and no more than Twelve Navigators that would succeed Moses.

And the number taken is important then, as it's important to have a number for the Ulil-Amr, lest people choose whatever leaders they want to follow for religion.

Lest falsehood becomes indistinguishable from truth.

The Ulil-Amr in clear context is chosen pure leaders appointed by God.

And so 5:12 is emphasizing on a number and wisdom of manifesting a number.

And no gymnastics or textual walls ! no implicit answers!
   Just give me one verse
, across the 600 pages of the Quran that mentions any of the 5 questions' answers.

I'll give you many options; all prove your religion if you answer them:
1- A verse mentioning "Ali" by the name.
2-A verse mentioning "Hasaen" by the name.
3-A verse mentioning "Hussain" by the name.
4-A verse mentioning the 12 divine imams that we must follow
5-A verse mentioning the last imam that you and your cult believe will rule the universe or whatever -Imam Mahdy-

5:12 shows everything with respect to what you are looking for. Let it sink, and then the names of the Imams will also be found in Quran, as one of it's themes.

Calm down, let the Quran heal you, don't be hasty in recitation, take the time to reflect and connect verses.

Don't belittle a single verse. Verse 5:12 proves the Twelve Successors of Prophet Mohammad with respect to his leadership which is God's Authority and Guidance.

If you want the elaboration, then the whole Quran elaborates. That is the nature of Quran, it explains it's own verses.

It is you who wants to disconnect its verse so you can interpret it according to your desires as opposed to what truly says, picking and choosing what you like from it and rejecting what you don't.

So; you have no answer to this?

Yeah, there is that "don't belittle a single verse" line.  Honor the "word of gawd".  Ignore the fact that it is ignorant, tribal, xenophobic, misogynistic, and simply evil.  Put on those f*cking rose-colored glasses and worship the BOOK, infidel, or die!!   Yeah, the xtian funditards do this with the Bible too.  Y'all need more books.  Science and logic would be a good start.
