Enlightened rants...

It's a real mystery, alright. Proper head-scratcher, that one.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I read that as "spiritual in the closet".

Sounds about right.

Hammy, do you think that God might be gay?
And all the gays are really going to heaven while the heteros are all going to hell!
That is the real test. The real mystery. Put in the bible to confuse us.
In which case ... God, I've got a confession to make...

Vorls, you free this Sat?
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Quote:Sura 7, The Quran:
( 80 )   And Lot when he said to his people, "Do you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds?
( 81 )   Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a extravagance people."
( 82 )   But the answer of his people was only that they said, "Evict them from your city! Indeed, they are men who keep themselves pure."
( 83 )   So We saved him and his family, except for his wife; she was of those who remained [with the evildoers].
( 84 )   And We rained upon them a rain. Then see how was the end of the criminals.
Extravagance way of life is pretty wrong, from causing obesity with food, to make you drunk when you drink, to get you into poverty if you spend too much, to make you homosexual if you obsess yourself with sex.
A certain shock can turn somebody's sexual triggers gay; like crossdressing and "nero's mother" complex or helicopter parenting.  God created this, but he didn't order us to do it; he instead ordered us to go the other, hetero way. There's a reason for that; and there's a test in that.
Note verse 84 though: when violence was chosen by the people of Lot; the people of Lot got their penalty.

Some book, some god.  Lowly human worm that I am, I'm capable of communicating a message without a barrage of loons to "interpret" it.  This is somehow beyond the ability of a god.

Go get one of those guides, Mystic.  Bring them here.  If that's a requirement then I can't fathom why you would waste your time confusing the message.  If some person fails to recognize the glorious truth, it will be your involvement that creates this problem.

12 of these guides left their legacy, starting from Mohammad down to Hassan Al-Askari.  As for the current guide, the explanation of his hiding, you see is an important subject. But suffice to say, is that 12 of these Guides were present, as for the first, he was a Messenger as well, and people fought him till it backfired and he defeated them, as for his successors, they were oppressed and fabrications were mixed with the truth of their words even during the time.

That is why reflection is key. When people are sincere enough to reflect over Quran through ahadith, but rely on Quran and don't believe anything not found in it, than everything will become easy, otherwise, everyone can attribute lies to the leader of time which happened in the past.

How to distinguish falsehood from truth, that is the purpose of the FURQAN (another name for Quran, means separator of falsehood and truth, good and evil), but all this must take reflection.

Obviously Atlas and I disagree on how to reflect, he dismisses verses of the past to be just stories of the past with little application to us. I see a constant way of God through the way of the pass, through reasoning in the past, that must apply to the present, and to the future.

The Mahdi is in Quran. That I am sure.

And while he disconnects 4:59, from verse 5:12, I see a flow of Surah to Surah, topic to topic, and leadership is talked about in Quran throughout, whether the false type or the true type (the Divinely appointed type).

You really don't get it, do you?  We tell you that no "guide" or imam or preacher or priest or rabbi or witch doctor or fortuneteller should EVER be needed by any deity to get out its message.  If the deity can't speak for itself, it doesn't exist.  We tell you that no book written by "revelation" has any value.  So your answer?  Another craptastic gibberish wall of text from your silly book.   I don't care what silly fantasies you pull out of your idiotic book of ancient fairy tales.

Anyone can conjecture and say what they want out of ignorance.

If you have any proofs for any of your statements let me know, because I have plenty of reasons and proof for the opposite.

Yay proof!!  Finally!!!  Good.  Have your deity show up in the flesh and speak for itself.  Because that's the only proof I'll accept.  But hey!  You'll be famous world-wide!  You'll be a hero to all Muslims!  I'm so happy for you!

I think if God revealed himself to you or made you ascend the realms and guided you by trustworthy holy guides in that, you would still disbelief and would grow in disbelief.  I know I disbelieved despite proofs presented to me and him revealing himself to me.

At the end, a heart that is rebellious and does not submit, won't accept proofs and will always raise the bar.  And a heart that accepts proofs, will believe, and the more higher proofs are presented would just increase in certainty, but sufficient signs that do prove the truth are enough to be certain.

If god showed up in the flesh, I would believe it existed.  That's all it would take.  I don't know that it would be worthy of worship - that would require a being much more benevolent than anything in the Bible or Quran.  But it's going to have to SHOW UP.  Without a human to speak for it, without a book.
