Irational fear of hell still naggs me from time to time

IDK, by reference to magic book, there's never been a bigger sinner than The Big Man.  Apparently he's going to cap off his demon's resume by babbling all of creation out of existence because he's just done with it.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Apparently the omniscient one never learned that once something isn't in active development/is in maintenance mode, you don't need to nuke the system in order to update it. You simply do an in-place patch.

But, god's a pretty shit programmer. I wouldn't want to guess how bad the Big-O notation for the whole "put people on earth, judge them once they're dead, put them in heaven or hell" system is. You'd think he'd at least get it down to O(log(n)) or something.

The universe has a purpose, now go into the corner and repeat 100 times or until you understand.

Yes, we know. It's an all-or-nothing salvation drama with us at the center of it.   Rolleyes

No it doesn't.

See, I can make assertions, too.

Now this is interesting, this sort of thing is the mind set of the child of around four.

"Fish live in the sea, therefore the sea is made as a place for fish to live".

Most people out grow this sort of simplistic thinking, but some don't, they stay in the childlike state. Fascinating.

There is also a tendency to anthropomorphise abstract things which seems to be the case as well.

Well actually, it's deciding what's more reasonable: Mind then Matter or Matter then Mind?  Now, don't be stupid (think 'reasonable') by choosing the wrong choice; oh please don't do that.

Mind is the output of a functioning mind, you can see thoughts using MRI scanners and ecg meters, so mind then matter.
