What would you do if you found out we are all in a sim?

RE: What would you do if you found out we are all in a sim?
I like the idea that the chances are greater that our existence is a simulation, based on technology getting so good in the future that the characters in the sim wouldn't know this fact so as to make it more realistic, and that there would be way more copies of this game then the one, real existence where it was created.
But I think that even in the future, games can get boring and stale without a cheat or god mode.
I'm thinking that we could be programmed to ignore these weird events of people being gods and doing anything.
But I think that would be too much for the system.
And if the system couldn't handle even the requirements to run this game for longer than, say, half an hour, then our memories may be entirely made up, whilst we exist for only half an hour at a time and maybe there isn't even very many of us characters, just everyone you interact with over a half hour.
Maybe you're the only character that exists at all.
Fucken fuck you, Ignoramus, don't spring this shit on me after I've just had cones, you're freakin' me out, man!

Providing the illusion is consistent I wouldn't give a fuck. But if I'm going down the road to the chemists and I see a Dalek driving a cat detector van I'll mebbie do a double take and head for the pub for a consultation. If there's a large voracious aquatic reptile having a long snout with massive jaws and sharp teeth and a body covered with bony plates, (a crocodile) pulling pints; then I know I'm fucked and it's time to write a letter of complaint to the Guardian.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

Well you're wrong. Why else would I be unable to feel 'real' emotions?

Let's say science has breached the boundary wall of the sim's sandbox and has concluded that we are in fact in a sim we cannot control or affect.

Knowing this, would you just meh, and continue ordering pizza and chicken wings?
Would you change your outlook to your perceived life and do things differently?
Would you go all Vegas shooter because life is just computer code anyway? No "real" harm done anyway.
Theists, knowing everything is false, including our reality, our sacred texts, etc, what would you do different?

I'm convinced the theists won't comprehend the gravity of the situation and deep down still believe there is a god that made the sim people.
Even though everything they think they know about said god was all part of our sim to start with?

I'd probably do nothing different. It feels real. The fun still feels good, pain still feels bad. Work will still suck! What's really different?

What all this has to do with philosophy?
Don't you think that this philosophy forum has been vandalized enough with all these stories coming from daylight hallucinations?

Skepticism & Pseudoscience would fit better this fantasy?  Indubitably

No. It's been vandalized enough by your nonsensical wank.

Even my literal wanking is more educational than your nonsensical wank.

Fair enough pooley, but you're going all religious on us instead by using the same logic which tells you that the sim concept is bullshit? Wow!

How is a simulated reality any less real?

Yes, the cats crap in a nested sandbox!
Think of it as sandboxes all the way down...

That's also why we can't explain consciousness.
It shouldn't exist if reality was real.
We're all experiencing the illusion of consciousness!
That's also why we sleep a third of our life.
The code needs to back flush and regain working ram. Squigabytes of it in fact.

Nobody panic ...because your panic isn't even real!
