Quite sure.

Therefore, 7 x 4 = 28 However, 28 is higher than 9 and is reduced to 2 + 8 = 10 which is also higher than 9 and reduced to 1 + 0 = 1. Conclusion: 7 x 13 = 1 or, shortcut 7 x 13 = 91 where 9 + 1 = 10 reduced to 1 + 0 = 1

Wrong.

Is the correct answer numberwang?

Or simply "Cabbages Squirt Sideways"? It's Cabbages Squirt Sideways isn't it? I'm GENIE-YUS!

I don't consider myself very smart when it comes to math. I thought I could use some light hearted mathish questions to work my brain out. xD

I also don't consider myself very smart/talented in math: I have to work at it and there are too many ideas and concepts that are simply beyond me. However, I think that math is interesting, and I am appreciative of it. In particular, I admire those individuals who are mathematically talented: IMO, it is a wonderful gift to possess, so I hope that those individuals who are lucky enough to have it are making the most of their talent.

Keep at it! You will find at some point that it clicks. It takes a lot of work to get to that point. You'll be working a problem, and that "AHA!" moment will hit. It's a beautiful thing when that understanding happens.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Oh, stop. You know you're good with the maths. You can stop being so humble.

It is a commonly accepted, but erroneous, belief that 7 x 13 = 91.  In fact, 7 x 13 = 28.  The can be checked by demonstrating that 28 / 7 = 13, and by showing that 13+13+13+13+13+13+13 = 28.

Hint:  Colgate Toothpaste

After a reasonable time for those who wish to have a go have had one, I'll post the solution.

Well, no one's going to get it, so here's the answer:

How DARE you, sir?  You should be made aware the Dr. Louis Cristillo was one of the foremost mathematicians of the mid 20th century, a towering intellect and one of the most innovative thinkers of the age. Fie on you!
