Let's post some fun mathish riddles. I'll start

In a lake, there is a patch of lily pads. Every day, the patch doubles in size. If it takes 48 days for the patch to cover the entire lake, how long would it take for the patch to cover half of the lake?

Oh I had one that was math related but I realized it doesn't work well in text because you can go back and look for the answer :/

The words math and fun shouldn't be used in the same sentence, without the word not in between.

I don't consider myself very smart when it comes to math. I thought I could use some light hearted mathish questions to work my brain out. xD
