Joseph never fucked Mary, though. How is that in any way comparable? Or relevant to modern society? I doubt that any christian is going to think of Mary as a rape victim, even though Mary didn't exactly consent within the story.

As I recall, the idea of "Immaculate conception" doesn't apply to Jesus, it's Mary they're talking about.

Does anyone ever wonder, if god could make Mary pure and sinless for the purpose of giving birth to Jesus, why can't he just make everyone like that?

all of this is getting worse and worse. A senator on CNN tonight said that women who don't come forward right after they've been assaulted are complicit. Sick.
