Oops.

They'll probably latch hard on that "without a cause" part. And yeah, call an atheist a fool, and you're in danger of hell fire.

Do you believe in Pele ?

Zeus ?

Ah-Muzen-Cab ?

Why not if you don't ?

Have you examined claims for their existence ? Is there better evidence for Ah-Muzen-Cab than there is for Jesus ?

That's what I usually say to anyone who complains that atheists do not understand God. Who does? How are we supposed to tell you if a god exists? Maybe they all do. Maybe none do. If gods are things separate from the natural world, how are we supposed to access one? So the only question is, are you tempted to think that imperceivable things exist. Meh, I just ignore the possibility that sketchily defined things may exist until such time as they become obvious. Yeah I know .. lake of fire .. yada, yada, yada. Oooh spooky.

Q) So, you're an atheist?
A) yes.

Q) That means that beyond your vast resources of ideas: there is no God?
A) There is no god.

That means that you are omniscient and that you ARE God!

Then bowing to my knees I yell out, "Command me my Lord!"
Atheism is declining to believe the unsubstantiated with respect to deities.

Declining to believe on lack of evidence is not a knowledge claim. Invisible beings and realms are inherently unfalsifiable in any case, so it's not even a question on which to stake a knowledge position.

So ... most of us don't know / can't (dis)prove there is (no) god ... we simply see no evidence that would make such a ridiculous notion worthy of belief.
There is also no evidence to support such a ridiculous notion as atheism in the simple sense of, "There is no God". You can't prove it! I established(not a 'believe system') that there is a God and all I have is anecdotal evidence. I learned to trust God, not "believe" in Him. Which evidence, is completely useless to you and the church. Just let all atheists admit that their agnostic and lets move on.

Yet, if atheists also want to give me their humanist atheist philosophies about morality, I'm gonna fucking gag! The same gag I gave all of theology and their humanistic (so called)theocentric morality.

I read the bible in the autographed languages, in the autographed grammatical inflection, with out anyone's theological prejudices about what those words MUST mean according to their ecclesiastical and spiritual nonsense meanings. Really, how could the illiterate fisherman and farmers of the 1st century have any clue what the fuck the modern clergy is talking about? Yet, they understood without fucking with the word order, misrepresenting propositions, removing/adding words, etc!

Hey, I've been branded by the Christians as an atheist because I don't believe in their goofy ideas about God as a Trinity, spirituality, heaven/hell, sin, salvation, creation. They also call me a heretic and a blasphemer(whatever that means). I don't believe in such things because they are non-Scriptural--absativally no Scriptural evidence! So cut me some slack! I was just having some fun.

I've also studied a lot of theology. I think the "Holy Trinity" is Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and Casper.

I don't understand. Is this supposed to be a joke, or an argument, or...?

It started as a joke and immediately turned into an argument. I will try my best to turn it back into a joke. I am far to stupid, being a stupid surfer, to argue with their vastly confused inter-arguable(cool, I made up another word) brilliance. However, I have no self-esteem, which is nothing but arrogance! So, they can fun me all they want. What I do have is Cognitive Invincibility! Good luck!

Yes.  There is no evidence that your god or any other gods exist.

Most atheists are agnostic atheists.
Also you seem to jump around topics a lot.

Who understands God? The only understanding of God that will ever mean anything to you is your own life experiences--please share! What you know was given you by the Living God regardless of whether you acknowledge God's interplay with your life, or not, and your life is valuable info to many because we never went there, you did! The most important thing then is your own life. Anyone can read Scripture yet, how many have lived it? Anyone can read, "We live by faith, not by sight" yet, how many have lived and experienced that? Life will always supersede Scripture which itself is life--God demands it! Or else it's all sola scriptura and the man behind the pulpit. [edited to add] and the Wicked Witch!
