The urgency of this bill kind of telegraphed the fact that shit was about to hit the fan, imo. The GOP..this morning, was signaling that they were ready to pass a bill that they hadn't read...because it had not yet been written. Talk about a frantic 2 minute drill. "Just throw the ball...fuck!"

Oh, you probably know I'm not a huge optimist, just pointing out that todays news makes the GOP platform toxic...and being that I'm not a huge optimist..I don't expect any of them to suddenly become less craven than they were the day before. Kindoff counting o the fact that they're still as fearful and weak and sad as they've always been.

More reports emerging that the president tried to obstruct justice a handful of other times with a handful of other people..including one Richard Burr, Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee in regards to their ongoing investigation into russian interference in the 2016 elections.
