About vegans
November 26, 2017 at 11:13 am
Many vegans choosed this lifestyle because they feel sorry for animals. They're eating only plants, but aren't plants living things too? Is there any proof that plants don't have feelings or thoughts? Even if they don't, they're still living things. And humans are natural omnivores, it's true that we accomplished many things which we weren't naturally supposed to, but is it good to surpress our need of meat and other animal products? Even if all humas stopped eating meat, there will still be other carnivore and omnivore animals, so the killing of animals will never stop.

I think first we should solve our problems than worry about animals. I mean what will we do if the meat industy will disapear ? If you want to solve something offer some solutions.
Edit : Think about the social help in our country , everybody wants it gone but do they offer solutions after that happens , without a replacement , most people will just leave the country.

I am sure plants generate thoughts and feelings through the much the same mechanism that facilitates souls in humans.

I'm not a vegan but I very much admire those who are because I do feel bad for animals. Plants don't think and feel.

The truth is, Humans have to eat something. We can't live off fresh air and sunshine, despite what some people may think. As for plants, fruit bearing trees actually want their fruit eaten so their seeds will be carried off. Veggies are a bit different, because often it's the roots we're eating, like with carrots and potatoes. So they're being killed. although obviously plants are not as complex as animals, so they're considered lesser.
Factory farms are horrible, and should be abolished, though that still doesn't mean we should completely give up on meat. You can raise animals in a happy environment, and still plan to butcher and eat them eventually. Just don't pack them in a cage, breed them to exhaustion, and prevent them from getting exercise just so they'll be fatter.
A lot of people mistreat animals, Humans included, and that's something we need to work on as a society. Plants are a bit easier to ignore for the moment.

1. What's the proof for that?
2. As a stated, there are many carnivore and omnivore animals, so the killing of animals will never stop.

I'll just throw this in this thread.
We need to stop lying ourselfs and to stop trying to find solution for things like animal cruelty, poverty etc. and for the first time to engage the only real problem , us , humans.

Proof?
Care to prove the dirt you tread on doesn’t think or feel?

They don't have brains.
