How Bad Is The Senate Tax Bill?
November 27, 2017 at 4:35 pm
(This post was last modified: November 27, 2017 at 4:36 pm by Minimalist.)
So bad that even that useless piece of shit, Rand Paul, will vote for it. Apparently the combination of obscene tax cuts for rich scumbags AND taking away health care from millions meets his "inflict-pain" threshold!

Not to mention....
Senate GOP tax bill hurts the poor more than originally thought, CBO finds
Quote:By 2019, Americans earning less than $30,000 a year would be worse off under the Senate bill, CBO found. By 2021, Americans earning $40,000 or less would be net losers, and by 2027, most people earning less than $75,000 a year would be worse off. On the flip side, millionaires and those earning $100,000 to $500,000 would be big beneficiaries, according to the CBO’s calculations.

Still, blowing up the deficit helps everyone now and royally fucks the next generation.
And the downside is ?

People: We wouldn't mind tax cuts for the middle class.
Republicans: Ok, here is a huge tax cut for the wealthiest Americans.
People: No, No. You guys already got the Bush tax cuts. How about simplifying the tax code?
Republicans: Sure, we will attach a simplification of tax codes to a huge tax cut for the extremely wealthy.

Yeah...and about that simplification.... if you filed on the EZ form, it was already as simple as it was ever going to be. For those that don't, it's only simpler for those that previously itemized, but would now find itemization pointless due to loss of the SALT deduction.
Hey, we could make things even simpler by eliminating all itemized deductions, amirite?

The republicunts pay back their leash holders. The rest of their asshole voters get flag waving and slogans. Most of their base is stupid enough to take that deal.

I doubt that the WLB even knows, or could understand, what is in it. That won't stop him from signing of course. He'll sign fucking anything.

No, no. Obama signed that.
You can't expect a racist piece of shit like him to uphold something that Obama did, can you?
