Senate GOP tax bill hurts the poor more than originally thought, CBO finds

Quote:By 2019, Americans earning less than $30,000 a year would be worse off under the Senate bill, CBO found. By 2021, Americans earning $40,000 or less would be net losers, and by 2027, most people earning less than $75,000 a year would be worse off. On the flip side, millionaires and those earning $100,000 to $500,000 would be big beneficiaries, according to the CBO’s calculations.

No one in their right mind want's this tax bill... the U.S. population in whole is already suffering enough....
I hope congress or someone in the government has some shred of empathy to say no to this...
Taking away peoples government healthcare when it's literally the best thing than paying for insurance through a company... that overcharges you for less than what you get for medicare.. this is a horrible joke... not to mention a whole generation is already fucked on the edge...
Doing this and saying hardwork will get you places is a joke... the American dream is dead..  i hate to say that...

Unfortunately, that expressed itself as "economic anxiety".  Strange....because that's what we told ourselves, word for word...when David Duke made a run @ Louisiana in '91.  I guess economic anxiety turns people into KKK sympathizers?  : shrugs :

That or..you know, they pit us against each other so that we don't lynch them.  "Don't look at us", say the 1% and their bought politicians; "Those other guys took all your shit!"

It's so much easier to blame minorities for your problems than to actually do something useful about them.

That what gives useless turds like the WLB their platform.

you can only blame a demographic before so long before said demographic points out the hypocrisy that they are in the same boat as the people wanting to lynch them.
a lot of our economic issues can be solved easily we need to regulate and start giving a fuck about the middle class. the U.S. makes more than enough money so the lower classes, in theory, should be helped out of economic disparity and put into the middle class. without a healthy middle class and having wealth being more at the top tiers of society and with wealth inequality which we are under. it's a system that will fail and taxing the middle class will be the end of our economy and getting the taxpayers to bail out the system again will result in angry mobs of people.

RE: How Bad Is The Senate Tax Bill?
Of course the new tax bill is creating a yuge deficit and now Paul Ryan explains how it will be filled: by taking from the poor and middle class

Ryan promises Medicaid, Medicare spending cuts in 2018 to "tackle the deficit"

“We’re going to have to get back next year at entitlement reform, which is how you tackle the debt and the deficit,” Ryan said during an interview on Ross Kaminsky's talk radio show.

Health-care entitlements such as Medicare and Medicaid “are the big drivers of debt,” [oh they are and I thought debt makers were people like Jeff Bezos who have $100 billion and pay no taxes] Ryan said, “so we spend more time on the health-care entitlements, because that's really where the problem lies, fiscally speaking."

The Senate amended its version of the bill last Friday to keep the alternative minimum tax for businesses in order to pay for other changes to the bill — including a more generous deduction for pass-through businesses and the allowance of a property tax deduction for individuals of up to $10,000.

But keeping the alternative minimum tax, and the imposition of new limits on the interest deductions that businesses can mark off, would cost Murray Energy $60 million in taxes, Murray told CNN.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Well, as I understand it wars are already too expensive for a long time now. The only reason there's war in ME is because of the oil and the motto "that war will pay for itself by selling their oil". That's why there will never be a war with North Korea since there is no money for it and they don't have any oil.
