And humans make all the gods and religions and cults and sects and beliefisms. Your attacks seem childish.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

OH KOCK IT OFF,

Even without violence there are places in Buddhist countries, like this, where you can be ARRESTED for depicting the Buddha in a bad light.

Point is humans WORLDWIDE in our ENTIRE species history are THE SAME. We are fine with challenging others, we like thinking our label is good and a cure, but we don't like having our own social norms challenged.

Just because someone sold you some bullshit romantic idea of the east does not give it a pass either. HUMANS are the same worldwide.

We evolved to be tribal, we mostly get sold the social norms of our parents at birth. Humans don't like their social norms upset.

Buddhism is no different. You wont get Tibet's Buddhists to agree on politics with Chinese Buddhists, and you wont get Japan's Buddhists to agree on politics with China's Buddhists.

BUT, that is the same with EVERY RELIGION.

Just like Catholics and Protestants in Ireland fight. Just like a white Trump voting Baptist wont agree on politics with black Obama voting baptist. You also have Jews both conservative and liberal in Israel that ALSO view their politics differently.

There is NOT one single label of any religion worldwide that does not have competing sub sects that vie for the attention of their government leaders.

NOW to be fair, the SAME can be said with atheists too.

I am an atheist, but I do NOT agree with the politics of other atheists who support Che, the guy who lead to Castro's Cuba, YES there are atheists whom see Che as a hero. Then there are other atheists who value the "Ayn Rand" "no government" "fuck you I got mine" economics. I also don't agree with those atheists.

POINT IS, even with atheists, as with all religions, we need to stop thinking of our fellow humans as "the other". There is not one nation friend or foe alike, that does not have hospitals or prisons.

I don't hate my fellow humans because they hold ideas I don't like or find credible. But I do hate the fact that religion, at this point in history, is allowing my species to ignore problems that need to be solved, like poverty, pollution, climate change, and war.

But no, I will not give any religion  a pass just because someone likes it. Humans have rights YES, but ideas as claims do not deserve blind value.
