Where are the Jain Terrorists

Where are the Jain Terrorists
You don't get Jains strapping bombs to their bodies and blowing them up in crowded places. Why? Here is what Sam Harris has to say about this:

Quote:“Jainism actually is a religion of peace. The core principle of Jainism is non-violence. Gandhi got his non-violence from the Jains.”

and also this:

Quote:“The crazier you get as a Jain, the less we have to worry about you. Jain extremists are actually paralyzed by their pacifism. Jain extremists can’t take their eyes off the ground when they walk, lest they step on an ant. They filter every sip of water through cheese cloth lest they swallow and thereby kill a bug. Needless to say, they’re vegetarian. The problem is not religious extremism, because extremism isn’t a problem if your core beliefs are truly non-violent. The problem isn’t fundamentalism.”

So why are xtian and muslims so prone to these sorts of behaviours? Because their religious texts allow them to justify terror - killing of living beings is rife throughout their texts. Their god commands them to kill and their god is guilty of killing millions of living beings. If you doubt, just read the bible.

Violence, sexual abuse, rape and child abuse. All enabled by their little community away from the prying eyes of the law.

Just drop it.

Asia isn't violence free in it's history either. To think such is bullshit.

Do I have a problem with religious logic? ABSOLUTELY. But not just one, ALL in our ENTIRE species history, including Asia.

I have been in a museum in YOKAHAMA Japan, it was a history Museum. It started in one hall in the middle ages, depicting it's RELIGIONS, successes and conflicts with other Asian countries. It went all the way up through even the 1800-1900s up to today.

If you go to China, they'll have museums depicting their heros, their religions their success and conflicts too.

Our species was around LONG BEFORE any written religion or nation. Our species ability to be cruel or compassionate isn't in a label, it is in our evolution.

YES, Christians can justify violence with the bible. But so can Muslims and Jews and Hindus and even Asian religions.

I wish people would not get stuck on a label, or era.

Humans always have the potential to become violent en mass. Numbers and political power and lack of are the reasons minorities in any given society WORLDWIDE are less likely to be violent, in that moment.

The topic is religion inspired terrorism. Is Amish rape supported by religious doctrine or simply criminal behavior?

Where are the Sufi terrorists?

The Buddhist texts do not support violence. There is no god telling his followers to kill.

The Amish way of life is conducive to this type of criminal behaviour. And being xtian, their texts support all sorts of attrocities. Xtian terrorists quite easily use their texts to support their actions.

The Sufi's are muslim. Pleanty of muslim terrorists.

Is anyone besides me getting it? Am I the only one whom sees that our species behaviors are in us?

Religious people ARE certainly capable of great compassion, but just like our ability to be cruel and violent, that is not a magic divine battle, nor is it coming out of old holy writings.

Our species is tribal, but unfortunately religion allows us to circle the wagons and forget we are NOT a separate species.
