Two really annoying things about people with HPD. They have the tendency to want to be overly friendly (borderline flirty) with either you and/or your partner (depending on sexual orientation and gender), and when you're on their bad side, are really good at making themselves feel like they're the victim, pitting all sorts of clueless people (including those who are so helplessly in love with them) against you. They also like to exaggerate things about themselves to the point it's really obvious they're bullshitting you. So make this three annoying things.
Still better than NPD and ASPD (now those ones are sinister). RE: Help with a term from psychology.

Not all Narcissism is malignant. ASPD, yes. (December 11, 2017 at 10:24 am)Hammy Wrote:(December 11, 2017 at 6:20 am)Grandizer Wrote: Two really annoying things about people with HPD. Shouldve said generally speaking or something like that. RE: Help with a term from psychology.

I apologize for not intuiting that. I guess I just see ASPD as sinister but I don't see NPD as sinister. And I don't see what you see. Im mainly thinking of my father when I think NPD. They can be really abusive when theyre family and not just acquaintance. I was his first born. And his favorite. He practically didn't let my mom near me. We only really got to spend time together after I was 18 when we left him behind. For the first 12 years of my life his craziness was somehow non-abusive though. He called himself 'zany'. He was never the same again after his operation for colitis actually. It was weird. |
