With hypocrites it is always different when it is them.

It is a national failing of ours.

What's worse there's nothing at all wrong or illegal with Mueller getting his hands on the emails. If there was Drumpfuck's lawyers would have been able to get a court order of supression.

Apples and oranges.

But the Trump team needs to stop whining

RE: Oh the hypocrisy.
Trump and his cronies trying to discredit/derail the investigation is actually a very good sign.  Investigations into wrongdoings by public figures tend to follow these steps:

1. 'I didn't do anything wrong.'

2. 'I didn't do anything wrong, and I welcome this investigation, confident that it will clear my name.'

3. 'Well, OK, some of the people who work for me made some bad decisions, but that's nothing to do with me.'

4. 'The people investigating me are treating me unfairly and are corrupt themselves.' (current stage)

5. 'I'm going to step down to spend more time with my family.'

6. 'My team and I plan to appeal this conviction.'

7. 'With the help of God, I've paid my debt to society.'

So, halfway through the process.  Good times.

Hate throwing this out, but what kind of expectation of privacy do I (realistically) have with my emails and text messages ?

I have NONE.

Shit, just 2 days ago I replied to a message I received and sent the reply to the wrong person. Jesus, and I did that to myself. Hell, there are probably 12 year old hackers in Croatia reading my emails right now looking for credit card numbers and PIN numbers.

I think that is a fair argument. I just think it's funny how when Hillary was hacked Trump encouraged more of it. However, now that the tables have turned he is suddenly against it.

The tables haven't even really turend though. Mueller got Drumpfuck's emails through legitimate means which Drumpfuck should have known about. Clinton's emails were hacked by a foreign state and released in such a way as to distort their import in order to hurt her.

That hypocrisy goes both ways. Where are the people who thought hacking Hillary was treason? Not saying the same thing now....

Distort their import? They released them in mass to wikileaks and let people search what they want. I searched for the terms atheist and atheism. Guess what, Hillary distained atheists and coordinated an attack with it against Bernie. So how do you think a mass searchable database is distortion? Btw, none of it holds a candle compared to what the Clintons did to interfere in the Russian election for Boris Yeltsin. And openly bragged about it.
