The only problem I currently have is the problem of free will... And i am yet to find a good answer to that question

Well, I'll start you off with this thought. In the presence of an omniscient god there is no free will. 

But, you can search the forum for free will threads. We've discussed it ad nauseam. It comes down to it does and does not exist, depending.

See, in Murica we're starved for thinking Christians.  We tend to get those who compete to believe ever more farfetched things.  It is easy to mistake ours for the entire lot.  How many believers did you know personally who had what you'd consider a reasonable perspective, or do you find every notion of 'god' to be weird now?

I think that there are good reasons why people believe in a theistic good. But I think that that is just an intellectual cop out. For whoever believes in that god does not have to think about it and makes his/her own life easier.

But, just so you know, sure creationism is garbage, but creation mythology is not an invention of Christians. There are far older creation myths in our species history than Christians.
