So, according to this pastor's beliefs, it's not okay to bully people, just so long as they're Christian heterosexuals. This is quite unfortunate, in my opinion. He's really starting to sound like Fred Phelps.

Phelps is just the loudest of them, sugar. This country is loaded with douchebags just like him who either haven't the balls or the right size megaphone.

Take one vainglorious orator, add several hundred or thousand followers, subtract the critical thinking skills and multiply the many ways a fictional book can be interpreted.

Funny, much as I enjoyed Atlas Shrugged, I can complain about that mathematical expression applying to certain members of the Tea Party and their love of John Galt as well.
