Hi, I use to believe in evolution, but I don't anymore, at least not how it's taught and I don't believe humans came from apes.

You seem like you'll be an interesting fit. We don't have any jews on here. Welcome!
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

The proofs offered by Native Americans religion philosophically show evolution to be impossible.

Evolution doesn't say humans came from apes and never has. That crank notion is a strawman created by the religious.
The fact you get caught on arbitrary divisions is like arguing if a certain color is pink or purple but it doesn't really matter.
Ape or whatever you want to call it now, it doesn't matter. I understand evolution for what it is, I am always going to say it asserts we evolved for apes, because I am a human who roots in ancient language, not deceived by the supposed enlightened language of blind sheep today. We are technically apes.
You can wrestle with your arbitrary myths you've created to blind people to the reality of the design that confirms itself to be designed in many ways, it doesn't matter to me. I don't care how you define humans technically. I am more interested in how the one who Created us defines us, and how ancient languages guided by his shamans and prophets and guides understood what it meant to be human and how they understood their place with respect to all things.
I don't give a shit about this century post-enlightened crap. How amusing. (January 13, 2018 at 6:43 pm)MysticKnight Wrote: I don't care how you define humans technically. If there was a designer, he/she/it/housecat should have been fired for poor job performance. None of the religions or holy books sought to prove design by "it's very complex therefore it has a designer", they proved the design through analysis of what is there in a way that it proves there is a designer.
Western Academia straw man centuries of wisdom. Stop letting them think for you and start reflecting. Ancients had wisdom yes because they weren't so busy texting on their phones and think we know everything due to technology. They sought a philosophy that could not make use of all the scientific knowledge we have now. I say knowledge but I cringe, more like a useful paradigm we have that eventually will be broken as we make way to more discoveries and analysis and that we are abusing it into a monster that is destroying us. |
