RE: American Vs UK
I like the energy.... although someone brought up some of the touchdown celibrations which are just staged and unnatural....that I don’t care for much...

That cringe worthy shit was foisted upon us in the Austin F1 GP and was roundly condemned as being a bit of an embarrassment. This is a typical comment:

Quote:If that driver introduction embarrassment EVER appears on my TV again I’m going to stab my eyes out and puncture my eardrums. I hope the rest of Liberty Media’s ideas are orders of magnitude better than that or we’re in serious trouble.

But then with Liberty Media now owning F1 I suspect things will only get worse.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

Was that it?  Did the team in black win then?  What is this sport called?

This one came up a couple after that one.  These two seem better matched in their yelling and such and neither team ran away in fear.

American way is better - sports are entertainment after all.

But, the UK way makes sense for soccer. You don't want to get people pumped up and ready for action right before a sport that's about as exciting as watching paint dry.

As opposed to the ultra exciting baseball, the riveting basketball and what's the one where they just run around aimlessly wearing crash helmets. LOL

Surely if the sport is entertaining enough you don't need all the pre-show crap?

Natural mistake with all the videos laying about of people yelling at and threatening one another.

I do like the British fan riots. Especially at Wimbledon.
