I have no words

Yesterday evening, a horrible murder took place just a stone's throw from where I live.
Eight-year-old Mylee Billingham was stabbed in her home in Brownhills after an apparent "domestic incident" and was declared dead on arrival in hospital.
A 54-year-old man with stab injuries has been arrested.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Sad. Wonder what happened though. Man and woman got into a knife fight and the child got stabbed? Man stabbed child and then stabbed himself? Hope they are able to at least get to the bottom of it. Shocking.

I have no comprehension of how someone hurts a child.
It is not within me to understand it and no amount of special pleading or claims of mental instability would garner the slightest sympathy for the aggressor.

IKR? You probably look at your two sons like I looked at my 3 when they were little; the concept of a knife and them never crossed our minds, except that those things were carefully kept away from them.
