Dont rush yourself. You will know exactly what you want and when you want it.. if you even want it. It took me 2 decades to finally decide wether I wanted tats, what I wanted, and where I wanted them.

Yeah..thats my best advice from my own experience. Dont let people talk you into them as well..its one thing if they are joking around or being cool about it, but if they are pressuring you hard then dont do it..you may regret it later.

No one talked me into either of my first two. I got the lower back one a year ago, and wanted it for a decade before that. The neck one was a bit more spur of the moment, but I had held the quote with me for two years. I have two or three more quotes I'd like to get. Mostly I think I just miss the sting of the needle.

Yeah. I'm not getting any tattoos. Getting a flu shot makes my body tremble uncontrollably for a few minutes, so what would having several needles in rapid succession do for me?

I figured I'd add myself to the tattoos thread. Anybody who's got ink knows the whole point is to show it off your artwork.
