habitable planets

habitable planets
Every planet we know kills us eventually. Whether it be 2 seconds or 100 years. Surely dying is the opposite of habitable, therefore we can conclude that we haven't found a habitable planet.

Now what if we were to find an actual habitable planet? One that could sustain life.

This brings too many issues into the picture. How would we age on this planet? Can life even be sustained? Is this planet heaven? Is this planet hell? Would murder be much more serious and devastating? Would suicide be much harder or much easier? etc.

I think it's a good thing we haven't found a habitable planet.

RE: habitable planets
Even the most hospitable of worlds would be subject to entropy. And so would our bodies be.
Such is The way our universe works.

Yeah there are too many factors which makes it very improbable. Even the planet itself would go eventually. Our only hope is to thus rely on god and heaven which requires no science and logic. We can always have faith and hope.

hab·it·a·ble
adjective
suitable or good enough to live in.
synonyms: fit to live in, inhabitable, fit to occupy, in good repair, livable; formaltenantable
"it's not the Ritz, but it's habitable"

Habitable doesn't mean Elysium.

It's all relative when we take into account for how long. What if there was a planet where we could live 1 billion years?

Interesting subject , and finding "life" on it would be much more interesting :-
- Will it be carbon-based ?
- Will it use the "Gene > transcription > translation > polypeptide" method ?
and many other questions .

Would we have to be born on earth until we choose the ideal age we prefer, then go there?

This thread is pseudo science as fuck.

So, when you die of dementia or a pulmonary embolism it is the Earth that killsl you? The Earth that provided you with food and oxygen all of your life?

You could live floating in space for a billion years if the conditions were right.
