habitable planets
April 27, 2018 at 5:19 am
Every planet we know kills us eventually. Whether it be 2 seconds or 100 years. Surely dying is the opposite of habitable, therefore we can conclude that we haven't found a habitable planet.
Now what if we were to find an actual habitable planet? One that could sustain life.
This brings too many issues into the picture. How would we age on this planet? Can life even be sustained? Is this planet heaven? Is this planet hell? Would murder be much more serious and devastating? Would suicide be much harder or much easier? etc.
I think it's a good thing we haven't found a habitable planet.

Even the most hospitable of worlds would be subject to entropy. And so would our bodies be.

Interesting subject , and finding "life" on it would be much more interesting :-
- Will it be carbon-based ?
- Will it use the "Gene > transcription > translation > polypeptide" method ?
and many other questions .

So, when you die of dementia or a pulmonary embolism it is the Earth that killsl you? The Earth that provided you with food and oxygen all of your life?
