It doesn't follow that because one has presented only testimony that one has no arguments to show why atheism is rational.

I'm stating that all theists are irrational.   (Because they believe in something for which no evidence has ever existed.)

Fine.  We're all sick in the head.  /thread

I think Ybe is showing something important. The discussion has to be two way. Not just one just denying the other without providing analysis.

Sure, I can review a book and call it crap. But really, I should provide reasons so if wrong can be corrected and if right, others can know.

Nope.  I don't have to justify being an Atheist, you don't have to justify being a Muslim, and Ybe doesn't have to justify being a Christian.  Religion, or lack thereof, should be a personal choice.  Many of us here were raised religious, and have come to their atheism through study and analysis.   If you think I'm wrong-headed and I think you're wrong-headed - - so what?  Your beliefs are none of my business.  My beliefs are nobody's business but my own.  But there are a lot of theists who think that they need to PROVE that atheists are wrong and deluded and ignorant and misinformed - - but they have no proof that their deity exists, we should just take their word for it - - (or worse, their book of fairy tales) and it can get annoying after a while.

If proof is ever presented it will not be through arguments, stories, books, and preaching.  The evidence will be clear and there will be no need to listen.

The evidence may be clear or not clear without arguments.  I'm not going to assert either way right now.

But as for the listening type - why do you take the stance, that if evidence is clear, there would be no need to listen. Perhaps the only reason why it remains unclear is because people don't listen.

The Quran says to bring your proof if you are truthful not only for your creed, but for anything you attribute of God of rituals let alone laws that are a matter of safety and fear of people.

Everything is to be informed by knowledge. Nothing is allowed to be asserted and commanded to others without proof, and we are taught to call people to the creed and teach what we know of the book.

I'm not sure why you take this stance that people can command others or push or attract others or call others or testify something important pertaining to humans, without proof.

This is the problem with humans, everyone following their desires, with no proof, and without council to one another learning from one another of what each discovers of proofs.

Laws cannot be attributed to God without proof. Not just laws, but even rituals. Let alone a whole religion to God without proof.

True, but then it just becomes "I have proofs" "no you dont" "I analyzed the proofs properly" "No I did" which is childish.

Every person of every religion worldwide thinks they picked the correct sect of the one true religion. So what, that is not evidence of anything but that people fall for old mythology.

Is this nonsense going to reach 380 pages like the DNA thread?

Probably but Ybe is not to blame. What happened to the old adage; 'Don't feed the troll'.
Having said that, some members really, really like the sound of their own keyboards.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

Just as Iblis and his forces have a voice and control way of influencing our souls, so does the light of God in this world have a way to communicate and be with you.

Pick up the sword of God with you and let it teach you wonders.

That's not true, you can show plenty of negatives but this is off-topic. Only sometimes you can't.

What he is asking is to show your analysis of the arguments/proofs/evidence for God and show why you are reasonable in dismissing them.

Simply rejecting them doesn't show you are rational to do so.

I already gave one analysis, that alone should be enough.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
