Without reflection, people won't understand.

Stupid people won't understand sh*t, especially if they're using barbarian poetry as the basis of their self-examination.

Oh, well - tough sh*t. I don't have any use for "truths" made up by an illiterate merchant turned warlord/cult leader. There are no "proofs" in old books - if there were, there would only be one religion.

RE: Dealing with edge cases.
The next is dealing with the verses that are translated as not having friends or allies or guardians with Jews and Christians in Surah 5.

The truth is the subject is heavily about the issue of society judging by revelation. There are some questions that rise to that.  Are Christians representatives concerning what has been revealed to them simply because it was revealed to them. Are Jews representatives of the Torah simply because supposedly it's their book.

The Quran says in this context, don't take them as authorities pertaining to the religion, it's specifically about guidance and judging by revelation. It further emphasizes that some of them are authorities over others, and that people have made a game of the religion, and hence are to not be trusted.

In light of that, the question arises. What about Muslims are they Authorities regarding revelation. The Quran to clarify that, emphasizes our true Master with no authority to be mixed with that Authority, God and his Messenger and a 3rd group that were signified by a trait of giving charity while they bow. This in history is known as the incident where a poor man entered the Mosque and he asked companions but they didn't react because they were in prayer, Imam Ali moved his finger with his ring, and gave it to him.

This shows the spirit of "And as for the one who asks, do not refuse" (Suratal Duha).

It signifies as opposed to those who take people's wealth and hoard as clergies tend to do, these people actually give their wealth, and are a true authority.

This represented the 12 Successors of the Prophet as alluded to in 5:12.

Imagine that.....magic book steals someone elses story, and then tells it;s followers not to listen to the assholes it stole the story from.  They even stole -that-.  Christians pulled the same routine centuries beforehand.

Hey, somebody remind me, how many tribes of isreal were there.....and how many apostles did christer magic man have?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

It's not that simple Khemikal, this topic is of the finest detail topics, not to argue with Christians and Jews, but rather, to show Muslims must not do the same mistake where they break up to sects and rely on their clergy for authority pertaining to the religion.

The question if Islam was the true religion in all times, how come it was not correctly passed over by Christians and Jews, is a good topic in itself, but better then proving to Christians and Jews, is to clarify to Muslims their path way forward.

Even on a word that unites people of the book with Muslims, it says, that we should worship God sincerely and not take some of us as lords over others. We agree on this in theory, in practice, it doesn't happen. But if we emphasize on this, everything will become easy.  We will realize a lot of us do follow and incline to idols.

Rather then relying on humans for guidance, we are to rely on God the sufficient for guidance. So they must rather hold on to to rope of God, and seek knowledge from the family of the reminder and adhere to and obey those who truly hold the authority from them.

The problem is delegation. Once people understand this problem, it becomes easy to find the true religion, as there really is only one solution to it.

Delegation is , indeed, the problem....particularly in that the lord of creation needs no delegates.  It won;t help you to stop worshiping magic books if you replace that with the worship of magic men.

Who do you think writes those silly damned books, lol?

I don't believe God command Children of Israel to split into tribes and divide them a part like that. It's a translation issue to keep people from the Twelve leaders who are the pathways to God after the founding Captain Mohammad.

Why on earth would God divide people to live with their own tribe... and arbitrarily set that to twelve by the sons of Jacob as opposed to a different number.

Why on earth would god divide people into two camps of nutballs?  Maybe you should ask him?

You;re only telling me..here, that you don;t believe the stupid stories your stupid stories are based on...right down to the number. Maybe the question you ought to be asking, is why your magic men deigned to include it in your magic book?
