Why Doesn't The Pro-Birth Crowd Address This?
Their campaign to keep church pews filled with helpless little brainwashed captives seems to suffer more from this than it does from the occasional abortion that is performed.

The birth rate is declining because the U.S. is a hostile place to raise a kid

Quote:The U.S. birth rate is at a 30-year low according a new report from the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC)—and the range of reactions to this new data is what you would expect. People have been quick to speculate about the reasons behind the trend, but many of them miss an obvious point: people are not having as many children because America is one of the hardest places to raise a child.

Ridiculous article. Western Europe has lower birthrates. Having low birthrates is a sign of an educated populace and a good thing. That article is worthless. Doesn't understand at all the things correlated with low birthrates and in fact gets some of them completely opposite of the truth.

Only the rich can afford a kid it actually claims, even though poor people have far more kids.

But if we're not churning out babies, how do we keep the immigrants from taking over with all their babies?

Haha, well that's why we need immigrant labor, and Europe does too. All the countries with low birthrates need immigrants.

I can understand that train of thought.

For once, I agree. Nothing kills quality of life like mindless reproduction. The more people, the less of most everything there is for individuals.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

One more reason not to deport those 800,000 DACA kids. We paid to educate them. Now they can contribute to the Social Security system. So can their kids.

You'd better tell the knuckle-draggers in your own camp that fact.

Oh, and after you say it, duck and run.

Less people is a good thing too.
