I see RR's point. I wouldn't serve a KKK rally. However, I do strongly believe that being gay is not comparable to being a member of the KKK. It brings us round to the protected groups and choice debate.

I agree, that this is wrong, and should be illegal. As would a sign with any other group stated; unless you can justify that restriction. Then you are a fucking asshole. Same shit was done to blacks. Germany is also an example of what happens when you use government to vilify minorities. Gays are not a separate species just like blacks are not a separate species just like Jews are not a separate species. Again, if you STUPIDLY truly believe that BULLSHIT, then don't be half assed about it, go all the way, demand gays be arrested and or executed. I have a better option, instead of vilifying them, meet them, get to know them and FUCKING LISTEN TO THEM. This is not an argument, this is just you justifying nonsense. Uh...Brian, you do realize RR said that it should be ILLEGAL to refuse service to gay people?

See, i think that rights protect even those I disagree with (such as the KKK). I don’t think that you can kick a KKK member out of your restaraunt, unless they are causing a commotion or some other justifiable reason. So back to my original question; would you agree, if that if someone is not part of a protected class, that they can be descriminated against indiscriminately?

If you're going to discriminate, you should do it discriminately.

Maybe you should take your own advice!

I didn't mean to take it out on you RR. I am simply tired of minorities being treated like shit. I hope you can accept my apology.
No one has ever accused Brian of not being passionate about what he stands for. :-)

My passion does have alot to do with being bullied as a kid, and right now I deal with political climate it drives me nuts. But yea, if RR agrees it should be illegal, that is AWESOME. And once again RR, I am sorry. (June 27, 2018 at 12:30 pm)RoadRunner79 Wrote:(June 27, 2018 at 12:27 pm)Brian37 Wrote: FUCK..... SCREW YOU, BOW TO ABBA! (Note to self, did I think this or type it?) In all seriousness, I do try, but I cant beat myself up over a malady I've had my entire life. All I can do is apologize when I am wrong. Now that I have been corrected, I won't make that mistake again on this issue. You think it should be illegal to discriminate against gays. GREAT and I am 100% with you. |
