I don't think even on the left, that many Americans do not understand that impeachment does not have to be about treason or felony, but mere ethics. One could make an argument about Trump's prior business practices and screwing over contractors and investors alone, but to have a candidate invite a foe to interfere with our elections, especially knowing that Putin is a product of the Soviet Union, and a former KGB thug, to say what he did in his campaign was INSANE. 

The fact that 45 would not release his taxes, and that he consistently vilifies his own intel while praising dictators, really has a bad stench.

Even if I agreed, how would that change the fact that 45 is unfit and needs to step down or get removed?

We are talking about an asshole who attacks our allies and praises dictators.
