As you say, sadly he came to this decision now he has no power to do anything about it. Clearly shows how ministers are told to push the party line and suppress any idea or thought that might threaten the status quo and their image with the media and public if they want to remain part of the party and in power.
Sitting here right now baked as fuck and watching doctor who and enjoying it probably a bit too much...I can say that this is great news that someone so close to government has come out and said this, too late for him to change anything but hopefully it's the beginning moves towards common sense when dealing with drugs.
