Point of order.
When you say "welcoming"
How do you explain all the crap I get for liking ABBA?
I motion for a vote of no confidence
Motion denied?
(Did I think this, or type it?)
If it's any consolation I forced Shell B to watch Mamma Mia and then dragged her to the cinema to watch the sequel.

I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to plan the merriment you had wanted. Maybe we can be the weirdos that we are and do it on the 11th birthday? Or 10-1/2? Love you. I'm so glad you made this place.

Proof this forum is the best forum

Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.

Some sure. I had the opportunity to see an ABBA tribute band near where I live, but the biggest reason I didn't go was because my mom was having health problems. The other reason is, although I like the songs, there is still nothing like the originals.
What sucks is they played in DC in 82 but I was too young and my mom would not have let me go.
I love that they are still being copied but, I just cant get into musicals.

Mama Mia was dreadful. I think they said to themselves, "How can we discredit a slew of A-list and assorted talented actors?"

I remember going to see Moulin Rouge at the cinema for a friend's birthday. It was torture. And being so loud at the cinema, you can't even close your eyes and think about something else. I should have just walked out but it was her birthday and I didn't want to ruin it.
My husband sat me down to watch the film version of Les Miserable. By the end of it, he was trying to hold back tears and at the death scene, the main character just kept singing and singing and singing so I just shouted at the screen "Just fucking die damnit!"
According to him, I had a face like a well skelped arse while watching it. Luckily my husband has learnt to ask other women to go with him to see these things at the cinema or theatre.
