Gawd, I love that movie! My kid and I have gone to Sound of Music sing-along shows at a local museum the past 4 Christmases. Love it!

No need to cancel the crush. I'll just demolish a wall or two (complete with an engineering drawing and a permit pulled from the city) and build in those cabinets you've been dying to have while you and Tres Leches junior watch...whatever that movie is. Big Grin

Thank you, Tibs! For all your hours of work that you’ve invested so far. This place has connected me with wonderful people, and for that I am very grateful.

I'm just saying while I love Sound of Music, Chicago, and Moulin Rouge I can handle someone not liking them but really if you don't like Rocky Horror Picture Show something is wrong with you!!!!

And being so loud at the cinema, you can't even close your eyes and think about something else. I should have just walked out but it was her birthday and I didn't want to ruin it.

My husband sat me down to watch the film version of Les Miserable. By the end of it, he was trying to hold back tears and at the death scene, the main character just kept singing and singing and singing so I just shouted at the screen "Just fucking die damnit!"

According to him, I had a face like a well skelped arse while watching it. Luckily my husband has learnt to ask other women to go with him to see these things at the cinema or theatre.

Musicals are never good unless they're animated Disney features. Otherwise, it's just cringey shit.

I joined 8 years ago. Its awesome being part of the slow evolution of the forum. To contrast then with now, we improved in so many ways. And of course Tibs, that keeps the machine running, purring like a cat. He could rm -rf atheistforums.org ya know.
