Kavanaugh Can Join Thomas.
RE: Kavanaugh Can Join Thomas.
Then at least lower the age to four. You're giving five year olds a bad rap. Some of them are in kindergarten by age five. I know I was.

I stand by the comparison. Children aged five are no more than twice as charming as someone's Fox-watching, Jesus-beseeching, Trump-supporting adult uncle.

I wasn't. Neither were you.

Leave the four-year-olds out of this, lady.

Lol do you want me to bring the three year olds into this?

Because I can, ya know.

In no other comparison do five-year-olds fare as well.

I was thinking more along the lines of the entitled rich kid who brings the adidas leather ball to the kickaround demanding his rules be kept because its his ball. And then goes crying to mammy because his rule that only he can score goals is being ignored.

Grassley says he would not allow Supreme Court vacancy to be filled in 2020

Quote:Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) said Tuesday that he would not allow a Supreme Court vacancy to be filled in 2020, a position that puts him at odds with the Senate’s top Republican on an issue that has inflamed partisan tensions for more than two years.

In an interview with Fox News Channel’s Martha MacCallum, Grassley was asked whether he believes the Senate should take up a hypothetical Supreme Court nomination during 2020, when President Trump will be up for reelection.

“If I’m chairman, they won’t take it up,” said Grassley, whose committee is charged with holding hearings on Supreme Court nominees. “No, because I pledged that in 2016, that if the ball’s the same as it is. Now, if somebody else is the chairman of the committee, they’ll have to decide for themselves. But that’s a decision I made a long time ago.”

That's cute. When Grassley moves to another committee, he will get to pretend he actually has principles with regard to SC vacancies. What a scumbag.

Quote:Joe Scarborough, co-host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe," is no fan of Donald Trump; in fact, he's one of the president's most vocal critics, who has made quite clear that he wants to see him fail. But his anti-Trump lens hasn't blinded Scarborough to some glaring problems with how the Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media handled the uncorroborated allegations against now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

In a searing critique of the media's coverage of the allegations, particularly how the content of Christine Blasey Ford's confidential letter was leaked to the press despite her desire to remain anonymous, Scarborough called out multiple mainstream outlets that portray themselves as committed to reporting the truth without partiality for failing to dig into the matter.

"What New York Times reporter, what Washington Post reporter, was assigned a story by their editors to go see what really happened with Dianne Feinstein, and ask Dianne Feinstein and her staff the sort of questions that would have happened if the Republican Party had done the same thing?" Scarborough asked, the Free Beacon reports. "Not one."
