Good to see so many of the TTA guys/gals either jumping ship or already here! Had I know I would have signed up before now.

Still poking my nose around at the moment, lay out is a tad different, so scoping out what I can contribute to. Awesome welcome from all so far for all of us refugees so I look forward to hanging around here as my new forum home

I'm sure you've butted heads with Dripshit over on TTA. No worries... he's over here too, so you can have fun messing with him. Also - we have a huggy. Not sure if he was over there but he reeks just as bad as dripshit. Just beware: he loves quote mining people to death and he'll bring up quotes from a bazillion years ago just to troll.

One thing I don't like about AF is the silly [ h r ] tag with all your posts being squeezed into one. It means I normally have to wait for other people to post otherwise I end up with a wall of text.

It didn't help. Posts still get appended together. It just made the editor a WYSIWYG which I find more difficult to edit, so I reverted back to the source code.

Hmm, looks different already. I wonder what it does.

It has strict rules.

Start with the tags. Everything must have an open tag and a closing tag.

I prefer science over philosophy, and logic over fantasy.

Appending posts together is automatic behavior. There is no way around that other than to wait for the two hour edit window to expire. Sometimes a post gets split from the previous one if either is particularly long or will start a new page, but as far as I can see, that's unpredictable.
