Defensive anyone? Kavanaugh sounds scared!

Senator Graham has decided that he wants to testify in lieu of judge Kavanaugh doing so.

Senator Graham has just tried to shame the American people for daring to question the integrity of the guy he and his buddies want to appoint to a lifetime position which empowers that guy to have say over our lives for generations to come.

Fuck you, Senator Graham. Fuck you for trying to turn this around with your victim blaming and your shameless partisan bias. Yeah, don't worry. I think the American people can see through the sham.

Interesting how he stumbled through admitting he had "too many".

His problem there is that he's lied to the FBI about his drinking habits when claiming he was a boy scout. We knew it, he knew it and the FBI knew it, but today, under oath, he's admitted that he was a lush in school.

He's just admitted under oath that he committed a crime in lying to the FBI.

I don't have a problem with Kavanaugh so much as I have a problem with how the Republicans are attempting to manipulate the process by rushing it through, excluding additional witnesses, and claiming that it is only a plot by Democrats to ruin the nomination. It may be the latter, but it is also necessarily something which needs to be considered and not simply ignored.

I predict that no matter what is said at the second half of this hearing, his nomination will be pushed through and the male republicans will get their way.

Why?

Because the outrage simply isn't strong enough for republicans to stand up, grow a goddamned spine and do the right thing for once. So this whole thing has been nothing but a waste of time. From the denial of millions more documents requested by the dems to the accusers coming out and speaking up - no one is seriously pissed off enough to say enough is enough already. Men like Grassley and Graham will continue to steamroll every single effort made by those wishing to do the right thing - no matter what side of the isle they are on.
And it is disgusting, it is wrong and these actions speak mounds to the rest of the world about the kind of government we have here.

Compare the mannerisms of Dr. Ford with Judge Kavanaugh. One of them behaves with deference and respect to the senate committee and they answer questions to the best of their ability. The other behaves combatively, yells, evades questions, challenges the committee members, interrupts and cannot control their emotions.

This country's government system has gone the way of the toilet and no one really seems up to the job to prevent further damage from being done.
