Yeah, but they're sub-human Nazis.

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. You're more like the bumbling Italians.

If it happens, I think it delegitimizes the Supreme Court. They become a political body who's whims matter more than precedent.

That, and the biggest March on Washington in History will occur.

I've never heard anyone say they want to get rid of Brown vs Board of education.

As for conservatives, half of Republicans now favor roe, as I linked in another post.

Absolutely.

It would further divide us and perhaps irreparably damage our unity.
If The Flintstones have taught us anything, it's that pelicans can be used to mix cement.

tRump being POTUS has already guaranteed that happening.

Meh, they said the same thing when FDR won a third term.

It would serve them right.

But how many have shown any willingness to stand up for reasonableness and against the dumbass in the white house.  They're all tainted.

Yes and yes.
In a number of conservative states, state lawmakers have made it so difficult to obtain a legal abortion that it's already effectively outlawed there.
The idea that we could go backward any further than we already have on this issue is unthinkable.

-Teresa

In the current political atmosphere it is foolish to regard something as unthinkable unless one is prepared to go farther, be more extreme, inflict more damage, accept more collateral casualties, have fewer scruples and go more directly and and savagely for the jugular in preventing it than prepetrators a willing to in order achieve it.

If you are not willing to kill to prevent something, don’t count on it being stopped.

Maybe I am a Pollyanna, but I'd like to think we are more resilient than that.

FDR wasn't half the embarrassment that DJT is.

If this country had any sort of resiliency the last 22 months wouldn't have happened the way that it has.
