FDR wasn't half the embarrassment that DJT is.

At the time he was portrayed at Satan himself. Sen. Gerald P. Nye, on hearing that the Japanese had raided Pearl Harbor, said "He must have tricked them!" Not often you get to see the very beginning of a conspiracy theory.

If this country had any sort of resiliency the last 22 months wouldn't have happened the way that it has.

Really what's changed? Is your job different? Is your day to day life different? Probably not. Repealing roe v Wade would be way bigger of an actual effect on people than Tumps presidency to this point.

There has been plenty of negative effects from this presidency, from layoffs, to plant closings, to industry hardships, to housing crises, to refugees being turned away, to 2,000 children being separated from their families with little hope of their being reunited. Are you fucking mental?

Actually yes. Things are different. My other half works at a shipyard as a welder. He was swamped with overtime. Now we're hoping he doesn't get laid off.

Since you are blind to reality, perhaps you would like to pay my husband his wages if a layoff does happen.

I got laid off under Obama's watch, due to one of Obama's actions (ACA). No one came to my aid.

Yeah, but they're sub-human Nazis.

Glad you finally realize that, Heinrich.

I've asked him if her life had changed at all.

I would never argue that nobody's life had been negatively effected, so I hope that clarifies my question there. I'm not going to argue about the rest, cause I'm not an economist who specializes is the link between the economy and executive branch and don't really know.

What I also said was that overturning roe v Wade would be more of an effect than everything trumps done put together. It's a pretty clear statement and I don't know how anyone can really argue against it.

You said, "Repealing roe v Wade would be way bigger of an actual effect on people than Tumps presidency to this point." You didn't just limit it to her, dumbass.

Roe v. Wade won't be overturned. Not going to happen. Republicans wouldn't let it happen because it's be too big of an issue to drive out the left.

No, what will happen is this: They will erode women's reproductive rights slowly. Things like Fetal Heartbeat Laws. Laws that make it impossible to keep abortion clinics open. In red states it'll be next to impossible for a poor woman to get an abortion. (Rich mistresses on the other hand will get abortions quite easily). This'll keep their base happy but still screaming for overturning Roe V. Wade to drive them out to vote, without rallying liberals behind a singular cause.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.
