So, the current situation is the four of you are back at the house, with all the money you could carry, but the opium is currently at the two stashes. The house has not yet been searched, although you've heard the stash is in the basement, and possibly trapped.

Is Erus doing anything to hide the mutilated Amylda?

Khah give the basement a search, looking for anything. He takes to -> 20+6 = 26, and he finds a secret door. He Searches it for traps, taking 20 again, and finds a wall scythe.

He attempts to disable it, and tells you all to stand back -> 2d0+7 = 19, and he succeeds in disabling it. He then takes 20 on picking the lock -> 20+11 = 31, and it opens.

It opens to a room with some boxes and bags of coins, and some jars of a thick, brown substance. There is a total of 1000 pp and 2000 gp, or 250 pp and 500 gp split four ways.
(remember that platinum coins are worth ten times a gold coin)

So, Simon should be able to carry all the remaining coins on his own. Stanis and Khah could have split up what was at the flat and carried it. That, totaled with what was in the basement comes to: 2800 pp and 6000 gp, or 700 pp and 1500 gp split four ways. Converting the platinum to gold, you're looking at effectively 8,500 gold worth of coins. There's also the opium at those places. I'm not sure what your plans are with it.

Khah says "I could buy some off of you all, if you don't have any use for it. I could probably move it on my own. I could pay you each 1,000 gp for your portion of the opium."


Regardless of what you decide with that, you each get 2,000 XP, which should be enough to raise you to level 5. Get your characters leveled. Let me know if you have any questions. Also, you have enough money to start shopping around for items. If you have no idea what might be useful, I can suggest a few things.
