It was actually too small for one person and a cat. But there is comfort in having a tiny house. I can't really explain why.

All I need is a mattress a toilet and a sink. And AC. I don’t really need to do anything at home that’s not horizontal besides walking to the toilet. For real.

If you're on your phone, you'll have to switch to the "full version" in order to rep. For some reason, the mobile version won't let you rep anyone.

I can actually wrap my head around 420 with one person.  But these people stick to under 200 sf.  Except the one "mini-mansion" at 250 feet.  For five people.

And msg to CarveTheFive----one of these tiny house people insisted he had to have a place for a built-in keg. You know, for that high-dollar designer brewery type beer. Priorities, you know.
Where are we going and why am I in this hand basket?

We Americans love dumb fads like fidget spinners, Pokémon Go and anything Disney and tiny homes are another fad. It's a thing here in northern California but I don't foresee anyone I know giving up their giant cookie-cutter tract homes for a tiny home. The bigger the better - at least that's the attitude of most people I know.
If I'm going to pay $100k for a cramped home, it's going to be an RV that I can at least travel in.

If their neighbors were smart, they wouldn't put up with that. We had a lady who hoarded so much shit that it was all over her property. The neighbors got sick of their property values going down so they bitched about her at a borough meeting. Needless to say, the hoarder was in violation of quite a few ordinances and was told to either clean it all up or face being fined and having her property condemned.

I need more room than a 200 square foot tiny house has, just for a place to put my tools when I'm not using them. What do these people actually do in something that size? I've seen jail cells bigger than that.

We had a micro/mini RV for one dog event season, it sucked.

The truck parked under that trailer probably cost more than the trailer.
