I'm not familiar with that instance... and I think that you can find someone to say just about anything if you look hard enough.   But if you are trying to attribute it to a larger group, then I think that you need do a little more work than that.

Let's be realistic. "The Left" isn't violent. "The Right" isn't violent. Various groups which describe themselves as "left-wing" and "right-wing" are violent. Violence is a human trait, you can find it in almost any group, be it religious, political, social, etc.

If your point is that being a member of the left means you are violent, then you need to offer actual evidence of that, because there are millions of people on the left who abhor violence. Likewise on the right.

But knowing the way AM tends to think (and probably anyone else who would choose a username like "alpha male"), it is probably about the behavior of the oppressed masses in response to their ever decreasing slice of the pie. I can't see any point in any actually confirming that hunch.

They did the same thing with Obama: on the one hand, he was a mom-jeans-wearing pussy who needed to grow a pair and "be more like Vladimir Putin." (That's not BS. Fox News correspondents actually bemoaned the fact that "our president was not as strong as Putin" on several occasions.) On the other hand, Obama was some kind of "tyrant" who sought to circumvent the American way and the American Constitution. Apparently, in the White House at night, he would remove his mom jeans in order to plot the socialist takeover of America.

I don't get why you guys struggle with this. It's easy to understand. Do you think Brian acts IRL the way he does here? We all know that the anonymity of the internet can bring out parts of people that don't otherwise show, and that can be amplified by the safety of numbers. So, when an individual who is a snowflake in everyday life puts on a mask and joins up with dozens of others, same thing happens.
