I buy most people passes to the local amusement park. A year pass is less expensive than 2 day passes and then they can go as many times as they want per year. It’s a pretty good deal. Plus I suck at creativity so everyone gets the same gift lol
Nono only for the adults - kids are easy to buy for and wouldn't understand carbon offsets anyway.
Instead of a lump of coal you're giving them the offset of many lumps of coal. I see.
I wasn't that impressed the time my sister-in-law bought us a sponsor kid for xmas.
But in the end we got to watch her grow up, read her letters and see pictures of local wells and stuff. It turned out alright and we ended up sponsoring a few more. I read there's something called "Gold Standard" offsets, which hopefully do not pay towards the bosses "Olympic size heated swimming pool" (AKA the human fund).
