Well, here's one of my all-time favourite bad movies (although many consider it simply horrible, I consider it an unsung classic):
If Chelsea Staub's performance doesn't clue you in to how insane this film really is, let's include what's Not included in the trailer:
When I saw the trailer on the opening day of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix I found myself intrigued by this horrible film. When it came out, it got horrible reviews, and I was in awe at its utter insanity. Until it finally came out on DVD, I kept trying to torrent it, but I couldn't find a copy that wasn't A) dubbed into Korean, and B) switching between black and white like it's Natural Born Killers. When I saw it, it did not disappoint.
If Chelsea Staub's performance doesn't clue you in to how insane this film really is, let's include what's Not included in the trailer:
- A scene where one of the four Bratz is frantically changing her clothes while lying on the ground while her three friends huddle around her.
- Teens dressing up like dinosaurs is not only a thing, but apparently a big clique.
- Mexicans apparently have live-in Mariachi bands (this is actually explained in the commentary as a relative's band crashing at her home.)
- The boy who appears in a few clips late in the trailer is apparently deaf. Given that he responds to "Are you blind?" with "No, but I'm deaf," with none of the weird speech impediments I always see in deaf people in other films, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume it's not very accurate.
- The Alpha Bitch decides to retain her power by having a second Sweet Sixteen. She's a high school senior and she has a second 16th birthday. And she still invites MTV to see her riding in on an elephant.
- Also, apparently being a high school principal pays well enough for a fucking mansion.
- As you can see, she apparently has her own evil boardroom in the school with katanas, and... horror of horrors... a jump drive. [To be fair, that does contain compromising information on every student in school.
