Just got home from visiting my Mum, who is in care. At 92, she's not too bad. Still pretty much on the ball. A devout Catholic, mum has never liked George Pell, wasn't surprised about his conviction and was most unsympathetic.
On arriving home checked the temperature under the pergola; 38C. It's meant to get quite hot by Saturday. I jest; I think 35c and above is hot,38 bloody hot and 40c a stinker...
