Alex Jones Returns!

Alex Jones Returns!

I'm not at all a fan of Alex Jones, but I watched some of this JRE podcast and thought it was hilarious.

My favorite part is where Jones says, "I bet you ten million dollars that humanoids are real!"

That and when he talks about the military making inter-dimensional deals with aliens.

What a bizarre human being.

The only thing I'm going to watch is when Alex Jones blows a blood vessel out of his head on one of his insane tirades. But only that footage. #facesofdeath

LOL! Normally, I wouldn't watch Alex Jones (except maybe to laugh at him, occasionally) but I enjoy the Joe Rogan podcast from time to time and while I didn't watch the entire 4 hours, the bits I did watch were hilarious. He's such a strange person and, according to Rogan who is personal friends with Jones, believes everything he says.

He recently claimed Rogan was a CIA plant putting out misinformation to discredit conspiracy theories. Apparently they've made up Hehe

I think he's funny, honestly.

This alex jones indie folk song is fucking hilarious

Well, it's like that old saying. I think it was Archimedes:

ALEX Jones? No shit.

In OZ we have a piece of work called ALAN Jones ,talk back radio is his thing. Not a believer as far as I know ,(he's gay) but slightly to the right of Ghengis Khan.

Oh, yes, we have shock jocks here, by the bushel. They do a pretty good job of keeping the fuckwits off the streets.

Alan is on air first thing in the morning .My issue with him is the unwarranted power/influence he has. After al he's only some opinionated dick on radio.

The clip below is him playing nice.

He seems far more tethered to reality than Alex Jones at least!

Alex Jones has made very bizarre claims since day one...

That politicians are actual demons

That there are inter-dimensional child-molesters sent here from other planets

That Barack Obama "smells like sulfur"

Very strange stuff.

Indeed yours is far more deluded..

I'm probably being unfair; our Alan is actually quite rational  most of the time. He appeals to the working class tories.  In Oz, it is they who keep the conservatives in power. I lot like Prez Trump's base. So it's as much of an ideological difference as anything.

Your Alex seems to be a 24 carat loon in the vein of David Icke.

I've never quite understood how people can deliberately vote against their own best interests. How on earth do rednecks from the bible belt & c convince themselves that an amoral billionaire* gives as shit about them?  Not just rednecks I guess.

* I read somewhere that Donald has lied about the extent of his wealth.Yes, I was shocked too.

OT Seriously: I  really can't tell; is our new Muslim brother simply as mentally unwell as he seems, (my guess is schizophrenia) or  just a troll?

This is, to me, the most puzzling part of Trump's presidency. As much as I may disagree with the hateful rhetoric Trump espouses, I can understand why people can be duped by that. Why wouldn't disenfranchised racists want to vote for a bigot? But to be convinced that Trump is "not a politician," and that he's some crusader who wants to fight for the working man is absolutely insane. Trump is a textbook politician; maybe not by career, but by personality for sure. The whole idea of people voting for Trump because "he's not a politician" is a testament to how easily the general public can be duped. It's sad, really.

I'm skeptical of claims about his wealth. I think, despite what many on this forum would have you think, Trump has had many successes as a business man. It's very easy to claim this that and the third about Trump, but I doubt a single person on this forum would know what to do with a 10 million dollar, let alone a 100 million dollar loan. To claim otherwise is just laughable. Unless someone on here is a finance expert with a considerable net worth, I think claims about Trumps wealth can be taken as pure speculation, including my own.

I think people are hesitant to give Trump credit of any kind, because it's easier to write him off as a wholesale, evil, stupid piece of shit. The reality of the picture, however, is probably much more complex, as with most things. That being said, I don't really care about Trump's wealth or his business acumen, it really affects my life in absolutely no way.

Sounds like the ramblings of someone experiencing a psychotic episode. Who knows though? I mostly try to ignore those kinds of people.

I can remember seeing this clip, and thinking: "Holy Shit, omnicide, and elves, Thirty H's has been incorporated into IRL conspiracy theories."

The mentality has been around forever. We had a guy a few years ago who was dubbed 'Joe the Plumber'. Joe the Plumber was a right winger who defended to wealthy against tax increases, arguing that he might be one of the wealthy someday.  (It turned out that he didn't actually have a plumber's license).

Flash back to the late 19th century, and we find Mark Twain writing about Joe the Plumber in A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. The protagonist of the story meets a feudal blacksmith who is a staunch defender of the feudal order of things. The blacksmith goes on at great length about how the feudal order of things has made it possible for him to lift himself up marginally above many of his fellows (he gets to eat meat once a week, sometimes twice a week).
We do not inherit the world from our parents. We borrow it from our children.
